Today was Record Store Day and I went to my fave record store, the Electric Fetus and finally bought The Head and The Heart! I've listened to the album twice straight through and I love it. Wish I would have bought tickets to their show with Iron and Wine in June but I waited too long and now it's sold out. Sad day.
On a brighter note.. hit up some thrift stores and found one with 3 for $1 cds. Hello! I picked up a Delirious? album that I didn't have, as well as a random band called Rebuttal because their album design was cool and they're from Minnesota (yes, those standards alone with entice me to buy someone's music, take note of that), and also, most excitingly, a Sondre Lerche album. Umm, how have I not listened to this until now?? I have been missing out. This is completely pleasant. I'm hooked.
Oh and a Romantica album for $1 for my parents. Score!
