So I'm doing a bunch of work from home (wahoo! love it) and I decided to listen to ALBUMS from my Ipod instead of just songs.. or shuffle.. or playlists.. just pick an album.
I picked one that I hadn't heard it forever. Literally, forever.
Pedro the Lion - Achilles Heel
Whoa, and to be honest, I must have been living under a rock.. I was not aware that PTL was Dave Bazan. Who am I? Am I really living? How did I not know that??
I heard of PTL when I was .. crap like 16 or something.. and I don't know a whole lot of Dave Bazan's stuff.. so I guess I never connected the dots.
Well. Tonight is a night of discovery. And hard, rewarding work.

So I don't write on here often enough. I have these mini-epiphanies of "Oh yeah I should write about that!" and then I don't. Working on that.
So here I am writing!
My homework soundtrack this afternoon has been DeYarmond Edison. They are not a band anymore, and I have (*tear) never seen them live. It has been a splendid afternoon though. I highly recommend both albums.
In similar news, did I mention that I have 3rd row tickets to see Bon Iver? Sorry, I'm bragging. I'm very excited. I have waited in line for tickets a few times recently and had it majorly pay off.
Saw Taylor Swift last month from the 5th row. It was spectacular. Not even exaggerating. She has set changes, dress changes, a ton of musicians, even violins.. she played piano, guitar, banjo, and sang. I have a bit of a girl crush on her. And I'm okay with that. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. It was my little 7 year old cousin's first concert. I let her know it's all downhill from there.. 5th row is pretty dang good. As of then it was the best seat I've ever had, until this Bon Iver show came along.
What else what else...
I was a part of the new album by my friends The Farewell Circuit last night.. We did gang vocals. Can't wait til I'm famous from that. (Yeah, right).. but it was really fun. They're great guys, and their music.. wonderful.
..Other than that.. living the good life and seeing shows... at least 2 if not 4 nights a week. That's just how I do!
